Every Halcyon & Heath project follows the same five-stage process — so you always know what's happening, what's next, and what it'll cost.
You tell us about the space, the wardrobe, the way the room actually gets used. We ask about budget range, timeline, and design preferences. If we're the right studio for your project, we'll schedule the in-home consultation.
If we're not the right fit — different style, different budget zone, different scope — we'll tell you honestly and point you toward someone who is.
The lead designer comes to your home, walks the space with you, takes precise measurements, looks at the light, and brings actual material samples — wood finishes, hardware options, drawer pulls, paint chips, glass options.
We listen to how you actually live in the room — what you wear most, what's hard to find, what frustrates you about the current setup. By the end of the visit, you have a clear sense of what's possible.
Within ten business days you receive a complete design package — full 3D renderings of the space from multiple angles, exact dimensions, material specs, hardware selections, and a fixed line-item quote with no fine print.
This is the revision phase. We work through every detail — drawer counts, rod heights, shelf spacing, finish choices — until you're fully signed off. Then it goes into the shop queue.
Every cabinet, drawer, panel, and trim piece is fabricated in our shop — not site-built in your home. That means cleaner cuts, tighter joinery, no dust storm in your closet, and a finished product that arrives 90% ready to install.
You receive progress photos at the rough-build, dry-fit, and final-finish stages. We confirm install date the week before delivery.
Our install crew protects floors and adjacent rooms, brings their own dust containment, and works clean. Reach-ins typically wrap in one to two days; large walk-ins with islands and electrical run three to five.
Before we leave, we walk you through every drawer, demo any integrated features (lighting, electrical), and hand over a finish-care guide. Final payment is due at completion — not before.
